Eagle View Caravan Park, near Harburg
You may know us from the road signs as Eagle View Caravan Park. It’s the same place: a small caravan park and campsite on our family’s working farm near Harburg, about 15 minutes from Wartburg in the KZN Midlands.
Caravans, tents and rooftop tents are all welcome. There are no numbered stands. The grounds are open, and you park up in any free spot. We limit bookings each weekend, so there’s always room.
Power and facilities for caravans
- Electricity is included, from shared plug points around the site, not at each spot. Bring a long extension cord and a caravan adaptor.
- Gas-heated hot showers, three in the ladies’ and three in the men’s ablution block. The ladies’ has three toilets; the men’s has two toilets and two urinals.
- A lapa with a fireplace, open to all guests.
- Fenced grounds, with the farm’s security patrolling the surrounding area.
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Getting your caravan here
The campsite is reached from the R614 between Wartburg and Tongaat. Turn off at the Eagle View Caravan Park / Caravan & Camping signs and follow the dirt road for about 2 km to the gate. The gravel can be rough when wet, so take it slowly.

Good to know
- Check-in from 12:00, check-out by 12:00.
- No shop, no firewood, nothing to rent on site. Wartburg has fuel and a supermarket.
- Only booked guests come through the gate. No day visitors, and quiet at night.
- Booking is by request. We reply within 24 hours, you pay by EFT, and we send your gate code.
